Because of the growing activities in our agency we are looking for a:
1. tour guide / office assistant
Period of time: from March until October 2011
(with possibility of extension)
From our office in Samaipata we respond to the e-mails of our clients from all over the world. We also give tour information to those who come into our office in Samaipata. For the work we make use Word and Excel, and of course e-mail. Besides this we have numerous contacts by phone.
Among others we organize tours and hikes in small groups in the surroundings of Samaipata. To our clients we offer a personal and professional guidance during the tours. We lay emphasis on the direct contact with our clients. It is important to us that our clients enjoy a well organized, pleasant and informative tour.
To fulfill this job it is necessary that you:
are physical in good shape;
have interest in nature and culture in general;
are able to communicate (verbal and written) in Spanish and in English;
have the ability to solve problems;
have knowledge of and are able to work with Word and Excel;
have the capability to make calculations;
are friendly towards our clients and that you have good communicative skills;
are capable to hand over knowledge;
have a good sense of humour.
In addition it is important that you as tourguide:
see it as your goal to pleasure our clients;
are flexible;
work precisely;
have sense of urgency and are able to establish priorities;
have the ability to solve problems;
have a drivers license.

2. staff member for our bar/restaurant (volunteer)
For the period from March until December 2011
(but with a minimum of two months)
To fulfill this job it is important that you:
are able to communicate well in Spanish and in English.
have experience in/or are interested in working in a bar/restaurant;
are interested in preparing meals;
like to act as a host/hostess;
have no problem to work in the evening;
are friendly towards our guests.
